Hales Corners Woman’s Club Offers Scholarships to Graduating High School Seniors

Application Deadline: March 31, 2014

High school seniors living in the Whitnall School District and planning to go on to college may apply for a scholarship from the Hales Corners Woman’s Club. This year two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarship applications are available from the Whitnall High School Guidance Department, 5000 S. 116th Street, and at the Hales Corners Library, 5885 S. 116th Street. Applications are due on or before March 31, 2014.

All high school seniors attending Whitnall High School their entire senior year or living in the Whitnall School District are eligible to apply. The student receiving the awards must be planning to attend an accredited college or university, school of nursing, or technical school in the fall of 2014.

The Hales Corners Woman's Club has awarded scholarships since 1962. Scholarships for $1,000 have been awarded every year since 1966, and two or more scholarships have been awarded annually since 1971.
