AIDA, a modern rock adaptation of Verdi's opera by the same name, tells the story of timeless love through a dynamic score. Contemporary, edgy, romantic, tragic and inspirational are only a few of the words that describes this epic musical. Greendale Community Theatre invites you to journey with us to the distant lands of Egypt and Nubia for what promises to be an amazing theatrical journey

Artistic Director Brian Bzdawka and Musical Director Tom Reifenberg have once again assembled a stellar cast and crew to put together a production of AIDA like none you have seen before. GCT is always happy to bring in new talented faces and is happy to introduce the incredible voices of Erica Brown as Aida and Kat Geertsen as Amneris to Greendale audiences. Returning to a create a GCT star studded cast are James Jones (Radames), Erika Wade (Nehebka), Michael Stoddard (Zoser), Shawn Holmes (Mereb), and an equally talented ensemble; Henry Wade, Rachel Bzdawka, Amanda Hoffman, Patrick Jones, Laura McDonald, and Stephanie Staszak. This unbelievable cast working in tandem with an equally dedicated and inventive production team will create an AIDA like you have never seen before.

Greendale Community Theatre is proud to be an active part in helping further our community by selecting a charity to “pass the hat” for with each show we do. This summer our focus is with the Milwaukee Center for Independence – a leader in providing services for children and adults with special needs – Greendale Community Theatre is also actively taking part in their mission by making sure the gift of music is experienced by everyone – through a live concert event. We hope to encourage our cast, crew, and patrons to be responsible active members of a strong community.

Greendale Community Theatre is a proud affiliate of the Greendale Park and Recreation Dept. of Greendale, WI.
