Whitnall's Treuer chooses Millikin University

Brittany Treuer of Greenfield will attend and play volleyball at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill.

She lettered in volleyball at Whitnall High School, and, as a senior, collected 338 digs, 22 assists, 12 kills and 24 service aces. She was the team captain for the Falcons, along with earning first-team all-Woodland Conference and honorable mention all-area honors.

Treuer was also a high honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in athletic training and pre-physical therapy.

"Brittany is a strong defensive player that is a great addition to our team," Millikin head coach Debbie Kiick said. "She is a tremendous passer and is quick and athletic on defense. We are thrilled about what she's going to contribute to our program."
