Special Sikh Temple anniversary program to air Monday on MPTV

Oak Creek — A special program to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the Sikh Temple shooting will broadcast Monday, August 4 on Milwaukee Public Television (MPTV Channel 10) at 8 p.m.

The feature will begin with "Waking In Oak Creek," a PBS documentary focused on the effect of hate crimes in the city. During the last half-hour, reactions will air from Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi, Lt. Brian Murphy, the first responding officer who was shot by the gunman, and Pardeep Kaleka, whose father—the temple president—was killed in the rampage.
