Police Report: Sept. 11

1Various brands of shotgun shells, valued at $420, were stolen from an unlocked garage in the 6300 block of Schoolway between Aug. 26 and Sept. 3. Entry was gained through an unlocked door to the garage.

2Four adults and three juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Aug. 31 and Sept. 6.

3A Nikon D5100 camera, valued at $900, was stolen from a home in the 5200 block of Laura Lane before 11:40 a.m. Sept. 2. Police are following up with two possible suspects.

4Mail was reported stolen from a residence in the 5300 block of Rainbow Drive on Sept. 6. The resident said she discovered her mail had been stolen after a friend mailed her a personal check and it was cashed by someone else. A formal complaint was filed and an investigation is pending.

5Police are searching for a 27-year-old Genoa City man who shoplifted two bottles of Giorgio Armani cologne, valued at $200, at Boston Store, 5300 S. 76th St., around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6. The suspect was stopped by store security but refused to cooperate, ran out of the mall and fled the parking lot on a motorcycle.


6A resident reported an attempted burglary at her home in the 7200 block of Northway at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 31. The resident told police she noticed one of her windows was open and the screen was laying against the house. Nothing was reported missing from the home.

Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call between Aug. 31 and Sept. 6.
