Police Report: Nov. 6

1A resident called police after she saw a man stealing political signs and flags from the front lawn of a residence on the corner of Fairmont Lane and Overlook Drive shortly after 11 a.m. Oct. 28. When the caller confronted the man, he stated the signs were posted illegally and took them. The suspect is described as an older white male driving a black Ford SUV.

2A 58-year-old man was arrested for employee theft after he allegedly stole $12,000 by creating fraudulent gold sales and keeping the money for himself at an undisclosed business in Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., shortly after 5 p.m. Oct. 31.

3Three adults and four juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1.


4A boy was arrested for two counts of second degree sexual assault after he allegedly assaulted a girl at Daffodil Park, 5640 Broad St., prior to 6 p.m. Oct. 26.


5A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at an undisclosed business at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., prior to 5:45 p.m. Oct. 26.

6An officer investigating a report of a briefcase sitting by the portable toilets in front of Walmart, 5301 S. 76th St., arrested a 52-year-old Milwaukee man for possession of a knife with a blade larger than 3 1/2 inches and trespassing shortly after 2 p.m. Nov. 1.
