Police Report: Nov. 1

A burglary was reported at an apartment building in the 5300 block of Eastway at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 27. A list of items stolen was unavailable.


A 21-year-old man was arrested after he was discovered trying to sell stolen items in the 5300 block of South 76th Street at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26.

An employee at Maurice's, 5300 S. 76th St., called 911 when she found an unknown woman rummaging through the employee's purse in a back room of the store shortly before 12:50 p.m. Oct. 28. When the employee approached the woman she fled the store. Police were unable to find her.

Four adults and four juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Oct. 23 and Oct. 29.


A 48-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was taken into custody for retail theft (second offense) at JC Penney, 5300 S. 76th St., at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 28.


A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he yelled profanities near a bus stop outside of Sears, 5300 S. 76th St., at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 24.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for prowling and violating a temporary restraining order for throwing baseballs at the exterior of a residence in the 5300 block of Lilac Lane at 9:35 p.m. Oct. 24.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after she assaulted her mother and threw things around a residence in the 7200 block of Earl Avenue at 2:20 a.m. Oct. 29.
