Police Report: Dec. 10

1The residents of a home in the 7500 block of Carter Circle called police to report an unknown subject(s) entered their condo sometime between 2 p.m. Nov. 26 and 7 p.m. Dec. 1, after they came home and discovered a white tank top and a bottle opener on their kitchen table. Police questioned a neighbor who had a key to the condo, but she did not see anyone at the residence and there were no signs of forced entry. Nothing was reported stolen or damaged.


2A teacher at St. Martin of Tours School, 7933 S. 116th St., reported his wallet was stolen sometime between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Nov. 25, and his credit card(s) were used to make fraudulent charges in Brown Deer and Glendale.

3A number of white concrete bins were reported stolen from the lower baseball fields at The Rock Sports Complex, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2.

4Clothing and hairstyling supplies worth $1,100 were stolen out of the trunk of a vehicle parked in the 6300 block of South 27th Street between 11 a.m. Nov. 27 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 2.

5Five rings and a bracelet valued at $15,000 were taken from a residence in the 7500 block of West Pineberry Ridge between Nov. 27 and Dec. 6. The victim told police she suspects the theft took place when she had people at her house during the Thanksgiving holiday.

6A woman's watch was reported stolen at Harmony of Brentwood, 9535 W. Loomis Road, at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 2.

7An unknown male subject shoplifted a $430 42-inch LED TV, a $400 speaker and a $200 speaker at Target, 7800 S. Lovers Lane Road, between 4:10 and 4:25 p.m. Dec. 3. The suspect, described as a 5-foot, 8-inch-tall man between 35 and 40 years old weighing 200 pounds with short brown hair and a goatee, fled with a male accomplice in a newer charcoal-colored extended cab Chevy or GMC truck. Police had identified one of the suspects and were attempting to locate him at the time of the report.

8A 60-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting and cited for trespassing after she was seen switching price tags on children's boots and a headband at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

9A man reported that 72 prescription painkillers were stolen from his jacket pocket while he was playing football in the 6300 block of South 35th Street at about noon Dec. 5.

10Two bottles of prescription medication were taken from the bathroom of a residence in the 11900 block of West Loomis Road between 11 p.m. Dec. 5 and 7 a.m. Dec. 6. Police were following up with four possible suspects who were at the residence during the time of the theft.

11A security employee reported that an unknown male pushed a cart of unpaid merchandise out of Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., and loaded the stolen items into a black sedan at about 3:25 a.m. Dec. 6. The suspect, described as a 40- to 50-year-old man wearing white pants, white shoes, a gray sweater with red stripes and white lettering and a black jacket and knit hat, was accompanied by two females. Police are following up with Walmart to determine how much merchandise was stolen during the incident.

12A leather jacket and purse were stolen out of a shopping cart at Goodwill Industries, 6941 S. Riverwood Blvd., at about 1 p.m. Dec. 6. Police viewed surveillance video and observed that the victim left her cart unattended long enough for two unknown females to work cooperatively to steal her jacket and purse before leaving the parking lot in a dark-colored, four-door Chevy or Pontiac.

13A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting five video games valued at $50 at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 6.


14A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 7200 block of South 27th Street at about 9:45 p.m. Dec. 4.


15A 24-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving and a 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 6500 block of South 27th Street at about 7 a.m. Dec. 5. The driver refused testing and was taken into custody.

16A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7400 block of South Tifton Drive at about 3:15 a.m. Dec. 6. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.17.

17A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 5100 block of West Rawson Avenue at about 2 a.m. Dec. 7. Her preliminary BAC was 0.15.

18A 43-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle in the 9700 block of West Drexel Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 8. His preliminary BAC was 0.18. During an incident search the suspect was also arrested and cited for possession of marijuana.


19A 25-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and vandalism/destruction of property after he vandalized property, spit on someone and refused to comply with police orders in the 6300 block of South 35th Street at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 26.

20A resident in the 9600 block of West Oakwood Drive reported an unknown subject(s) threw broken glass on her driveway between the late evening hours of Dec. 3 and 7 a.m. Dec. 4. Police responded to a report of rusty nails in the driveway at the same residence the morning of Dec. 1, and an extra patrol watch was requested in the area.

21The rear windshield of a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of South Scepter Drive was smashed out between 6 p.m. Dec. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 4. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle.

22The passenger side window of a vehicle was shattered with a BB or pellet gun while it was parked in the lot at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., between 8 p.m. Dec. 4 and 9 a.m. Dec. 5. Security video from the store showed four males in their teens near the vehicle when the incident occurred.


23A 22-year-old man was arrested and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at Whitnall View Motel, 6991 S. Lovers Lane Road, while Franklin police were assisting the Brookfield Police Department with the arrest of a suspect involved in a felony theft at about 9:10 a.m. Dec. 4.

· Franklin police responded to one rescue call between Dec. 2 and Dec. 8.
