1Copper piping was stolen from the basement of a vacant residence in the 5100 block of Maplewood Drive between 7:45 a.m. Aug. 18 and 8:35 a.m. Aug. 22. The back door was kicked in to gain entry. The estimated recycle value of the copper is $50 to $100; the estimated cost to replace the piping and repair the door is $5,000.


2Four adults and four juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23.


3A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana at Martin Luther High School, 5201 S. 76th St., shortly after 10 a.m. Aug. 21.


4A 52-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, and cited for speeding in the 5900 block of West Loomis Road at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 22. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw to determine his blood-alcohol content. Results were not available.

5A 44-year-old Greendale man was arrested for drunken driving after a caller reported a driver swerving and striking curbs on Loomis Road at Grange Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Aug. 22. Police located the vehicle in the Highland Lane Apartments parking lot, and the man was taken into custody. His BAC was 0.17.


6A 32-year-old Greendale man was arrested for disorderly conduct for yelling at a woman and causing a disturbance in an apartment building in the 6900 block of Crocus Court shortly after 8 p.m. Aug. 21.

Greendale police responded to two domestic violence calls between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23.
