Oak Creek Assembly of God to screen ‘Waking In Oak Creek’ on April 3

A second screening of the PBS documentary "Waking In Oak Creek" will take place April 3 at Oak Creek Assembly of God Church, 7311 S. 13th St.

The event is free and open to the public, not just Oak Creek residents. Doors open at 6 p.m. The film will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees should enter through entrance No. 3, where they will be directed to the screening. Seating is capped at 750 people.

"Waking in Oak Creek" was produced by PBS's production company, Not In Our Town, to generate discussion on how city's affected by hate crimes can move forward from the tragedy and become inclusive.
