Drug Possession

1An 18-year-old New Berlin man and a 19-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on West Forest Home Avenue and West Kelm Road at about 11:10 p.m. Aug. 12.


2One person was transported to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital after one car rear-ended another car at a traffic light on South 109th Street and West Janesville Road at about 5 p.m. Aug. 11. The driver of the striking vehicle was cited for following too closely.


3A driver was cited for eluding when he fled on foot after crashing his vehicle on South 108th Street and West Forest Home Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 17. The driver was not located but was identified as a 21-year-old Greenfield man, and citations were mailed to him.

4An elderly male resident called 911 to report that the Hales Corners Police non-emergency telephone number was not listed in the yellow pages at about 9 a.m. Aug. 17. The caller also told police that several mailboxes were knocked down in the 11400 block of West Edgerton Avenue, and the responding officer was able to put the mailboxes back together.

5A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle and was cited for operating without a license during a traffic stop on West Janesville and South Kurtz roads at about 12:35 a.m. Aug. 18.

· Hales Corners police assisted the fire department with five rescue calls between Aug. 11 and Aug. 17.
