Greendale Police Report: Aug. 21, 2014 issue

1 A cell phone was reported stolen in the center court at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at about 1:25 p.m. Aug. 12.

1 A security employee called police after a customer placed down a bag containing a gold necklace and another customer stole it at Boston Store, 5300 S. 76th St., at about 11:20 a.m. Aug. 13.

3 Five adults and four juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Aug. 8 and Aug. 14.

Drug Possession

4 A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and was cited for operating without insurance and operating after suspension on South 76th Street and West Edgerton Avenue at about 6:40 p.m. Aug. 10.


5 A park employee reported spray-painted graffiti on a pavilion at Scout Lake Park in the 6000 block of West Loomis Road at about 9:35 a.m. Aug. 10. The employee stated the vandalism occurred sometime over the weekend, and one can of spray paint and multiple gloves were recovered.


6 Two women were arrested for prowling and underage drinking and one woman was arrested for prowling at about 2:35 a.m. Aug. 9 when an officer was investigating four people running out of a church parking lot in the 6100 block of South 51st Street. One man was also mailed a citation for prowling.

·Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call between Aug. 8 and Aug. 13.
