Greendale Police Report: July 17, 2014 issue

1 A woman was arrested for shoplifting and possession of Schedule III narcotics at Macy's, 5400 S. 76th St., and for having a valid warrant for retail theft through the Greendale Police Department at 6 p.m. July 10.

2 Five adults and two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between July 4 and July 10.

Drug possession

3 A Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving; cited for deviating from a designated lane, suspended registration and possession of drug paraphernalia; and was referred to the district attorney's office for possession of synthetic marijuana during a traffic stop on West College Avenue and Root River Drive at about 4:35 p.m. July 6.

4 A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and a woman was arrested for underage drinking during a traffic stop on South 51st Street and West Ramsey Avenue at about 12:40 a.m. July 7.

Drunken driving

5 A Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving after he jumped a grassy area with his vehicle and struck a light pole on Northway and Westway at about 1:05 a.m. July 6. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.18.


6 An older man was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior after he was seen touching and rubbing his penis while staring at young females during the Fourth of July activities in the park area on Broad Street and Schoolway at about 7 p.m. July 4.

· Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with two rescue calls between July 4 and July 10.
