Police Report: March 6

1Eleven adults and two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Feb. 21 and Feb. 27.


2A man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove his vehicle into a snowbank at 43rd Street and Tumblewood Lane about 1:10 a.m. Feb. 21. His blood-alcohol content was 0.13.

3A man was arrested for drunken driving after he got his truck stuck on a snowbank in the parking lot at Scout Lake, 6001 W. Loomis Road, at 3:35 a.m. Feb. 23. He told police he was testing the performance of his four-wheel drive vehicle when he became stuck. His BAC was 0.13.


· A resident of Ramsey Avenue reported a 4-year-old boy rang their doorbell and stated he was home alone with his younger siblings and that he was thirsty and scared about 11:40 p.m. Feb. 22. Police spoke to the child's father, who stated he left for about 20 minutes to pick up his wife from work and left the children home, unattended, because they were sleeping. The children's father was ordered in to the district attorney's office for a review of possible child neglect charges.

4A mail carrier reported he was bitten by a black Labrador while delivering mail in the 6000 block of Thornapple Drive about 3 p.m. Feb. 24.

5A man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at Grange Avenue and Westlake Drive at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 27.
