Police report: Jan. 31

A woman's check card was stolen from her purse in the employee locker room at Walmart, 5301 S. 76th St., between noon and 7:05 p.m. Jan. 17, and the thief used the card to empty her bank account.

Seven adults and four juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24.

A Coach purse and a backpack containing a Greendale High School poms uniform and pom poms were stolen from a locked car in the 6100 block of Twin Oak Drive between 11:30 p.m. Jan. 18 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 19. The passenger-side window was broken to gain entry.

A manager called police after a man and woman stole a pair of diamond solitaire earrings at the fine jewelry counter at JC Penney, 5350 S. 76th St., about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 24. The employee identified a 29-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man as the suspects after they returned to the store, but the earrings were not found. The woman was taken into custody on three Waukesha and Hartford police department warrants and the man was released.


Officers responding to a report of a loud party at an apartment in the 6800 block of Crocus Court arrested an 18-year-old man and two 19-year-old men, all of Kenosha, and one juvenile for underage drinking at 1:55 a.m. Jan. 24.

Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24.
