1About $1,800 worth of construction materials, including copper pipes and electrical wiring, were stolen out of a locked home under construction in the 700 block of East Forest Hill Avenue between 3 p.m. Sept. 30 and 5:15 p.m. Oct. 6. The door was kicked in to gain entry. Damage to the building is estimated at $10,000.
2Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary in the 2100 block of East Forest Hill Avenue at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Someone ripped two holes in a screen window and opened the window about four inches between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 1. Damage to the window is estimated at $50.
3Two black bags containing $100 worth of survival gear were stolen out of an unlocked car in the 700 block of West Puetz Road between 4 p.m. Sept. 30 and 7 a.m. Oct. 1. The vehicle owner found his property in his yard.
4A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both of Janesville, were arrested for shoplifting $132 worth of brass fittings at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 1:40 p.m. Oct. 2. The same people also had shoplifted $226 worth of brass fittings at the Franklin Menards the same day.
5A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Buffalo Wild Wings, 8171 S. Howell Ave., about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2.
6A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing $65 worth of security equipment in the 6900 block of South Birdsong Drive at 8:40 am. Oct. 4.
7A 49-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $158 worth of jewelry at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 4.
8A purse containing $120, prescription medications, identification and other items was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of West College Avenue between 6:50 and 7:35 p.m. Oct. 5.
9A $1,500 red leather Louis Vuitton purse containing a $300 Louis Vuitton makeup bag, a wallet, credit cards and a driver's license was stolen out of a Escalade parked in the front lot at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 5.
10A woman's fake black leather jacket and a purse containing a driver's license, identification, a $10 cellphone, a $200 pair of glasses, a checkbook and $30 were stolen at Oak Creek Assembly of God, 7311 S. 13th St., between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6.
11A 30-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing air nailer nails, a three-inch folding knife and a three-inch circular saw blade at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 6.
12A folding knife, a flashlight, five CDs and mechanic's gloves, valued at $145, were stolen out of an unlocked truck in the 7500 block of South Crane Drive between 6 p.m. Oct. 6 and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Loss is estimated at $145. About $150 worth of damage was done to the console.
13A $370 GPS unit, $2 in change and a pocket knife were stolen out of an unlocked work truck in the 2200 block of East Ash Court between 3 p.m. Oct. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 8.
14A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he filled a cart with cases of Monster Energy Drink, valued at $432, and walked out without paying at Pick 'n Save, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 8.
15A $75 power inverter was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of East Ash Court between 10 and 11:35 p.m. Oct. 8.
16A 55-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for battery for shoving a woman, causing scratches on her neck, chin and nose, during an argument at Villa Vista, 8060 S. 27th St., at 1:40 a.m. Oct. 7. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license.
17A 44-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for battery for repeatedly hitting a 47-year-old woman in the face - splitting her lip and giving her a black eye - during an argument in the 1000 block of East Rawson Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. Oct. 7.
18A 22-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after he was found passed out in his garage in the 300 block of East Robert Court at 4:20 p.m. Oct. 2. The man also was arrested on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting.
19A 24-year-old Franklin man was cited for possession of marijuana after an officer found a bag containing two grams of marijuana in his vehicle's center console during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Ryan Road at 5:30 a.m. Oct. 3. He was cited for a child safety seat violation and driving with a suspended license, third offense.
20A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana after police found four grams of THC in his room at LaQuinta, 7141 S. 13th St., at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 5.
21A 65-year-old Racine man was arrested for drunken driving after a caller reported a driver crossed over a lane and almost hit a car head-on in the 10700 block of South Chicago Road at 11:25 p.m. Oct. 3. The man's blood-alcohol content was 0.17.
22A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6300 block of South 27th Street at 12:55 a.m. Oct. 6. His BAC was 0.15.
23A 21-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 9500 block of South Howell Avenue at 1:25 a.m. Oct. 6. Her BAC was 0.21.
24A 53-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, at Pennsylvania Avenue and Oakwood Road at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 6.
25A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries to his left elbow and arm after his car flipped over after being struck while he was making a left turn from Ryan Road onto 20th Street at 3:17 p.m. Oct. 1. The driver of the striking vehicle was uninjured. The Milwaukee man was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
26A 27-year-old Oak Creek woman was taken to the hospital because of back pain after she drove her car into a ditch in the 7800 block of South Howell Avenue at 10:25 a.m. Oct. 2. The woman stated she was cut off by another vehicle and swerved into the ditch to avoid oncoming traffic.
27A 52-year-old Greenfield woman was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after a car traveling eastbound turned in front of her while she was driving west on Puetz Road at Sunnyview Drive at 11:50 a.m. Oct. 6. The driver of the other vehicle, a 45-year-old Oak Creek woman, was unhurt.
28A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital because of a wrist injury after her car was struck while she was making a left turn on Howell Avenue at East Parkway Estates Drive, causing it to roll over at 9:08 a.m. Oct. 7. The driver of the other vehicle was unhurt. She was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
29A mailbox was broken off at the top of its base in the 9300 block of South Nicholson Road between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2. Damage is estimated at $100.

31A 49-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for vandalism after he spray-painted his apartment number on a parking spot he wanted at Southfield Apartments, 1501 W. Birdsong Drive, at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 1. The man admitted he spray-painted the pavement because he was upset that management changed the number scheme for resident's parking spots.
32Someone caused $50 worth of damage to a car by attempting to pry a locked gas cap off while it was parked in the 6400 block of South 20th Street between 9:45 p.m. Oct. 1 and 7:50 a.m. Oct. 2.
33A 14-year-old girl was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after she admitted smoking marijuana in a bathroom and turned over a glass pipe to a school resource officer at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2.
34A vehicle's tire was flattened after someone placed a nail underneath it while it was parked at the U.S. Postal Service, 7620 S. 10th St., between 7 p.m. Oct. 2 and 3:45 a.m. Oct. 3. Damage is estimated at $190. A special watch was requested due to several tires being slashed and/or punctured while parked in the lot.
35A 21-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a marijuana pipe in his pants pocket during a warrant arrest in the 900 block of East Randy Road at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 3.
36An apartment door was kicked off its hinges at Southfield Apartments, 6871 S. Birdsong Drive, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 6. Nothing was missing from the residence. No damage estimate was available.
37A car's passenger-side window was smashed while it was parked at Buffalo Wild Wings, 8171 S. Howell Ave., between 11:45 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. Oct. 7. Damage is estimated at $300.
38Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were cited for underage possession of tobacco after they were seen chewing tobacco in a hallway at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 2, and a 15-year-old boy was cited for chewing tobacco at school Oct. 3.
39A 64-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for carrying a weapon on school property after a maintenance worker saw a gun tucked between his chest and shirt, possibly holstered, at Milwaukee Area Technical College, 6665 S. Howell Ave., at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 2. The gun was a .25-caliber Raven semi-automatic loaded with six rounds of ammunition.
A 30-year-old Appleton man was cited for harassment for repeatedly sending threatening text messages to an Oak Creek resident Oct. 3.
40Two 16-year-old boys were cited for disorderly conduct after getting into a fight over money owed for cigarettes at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 9 a.m. Oct. 5.

42A 17-year-old Oak Creek boy and a 16-year-old Franklin boy were arrested for shooting a BB gun at a basketball backboard at Oak Leaf Park in the 200 block of West Centennial Drive at 6:05 p.m. Oct. 8.
43Police and firefighters responded to a car fire in the lot at Classic Lanes, 7501 S. Howell Ave., at 9:10 a.m. Oct. 5. The car was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames. The driver told investigators he was driving north on Howell Avenue and pulled over when smoke started coming through the air vents. The fire was limited to the interior of the vehicle, consistent with an electrical fire. No one was injured.
44Firefighters and police responded to a chimney fire at a home in the 8900 block of South Chicago Road at 12:43 p.m. Oct. 6. The fire apparently started in the attic near the chimney pipes after the homeowner burned some paper and twigs in his fireplace. No one was injured and a damage estimate was unavailable at the time of the report.
Police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with 21 rescue calls and four fire calls between Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.
