Jennifer Lewandowski and Jonathan Mantes of Madison and Milwaukee were married June 2, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are Thomas and Jill Lewandowski of Greendale. The groom's parents are Jeffrey and LeeAnn Mantes of Milwaukee.

The Rev. Walter Vogel officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Polish Center of Wisconsin in Franklin.

The bride wore a strapless Allure gown. Guests brought their favorite flowers to create the bridal bouquet.

Nicole Hadrian of Milwaukee, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Hoffman of Greendale, Marie Wavrunek of Franklin, Jessica Gruber of Oak Creek, Elizabeth Streed of Milwaukee and Jessica Koenen of Greendale.

James Mantes of Milwaukee, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were David Mantes of Milwaukee, Samuel Maslonkowski of Chippewa Falls, Joshua Lindeen of Cudahy, Luke Cimino of Madison and Joseph Thorpe of Oak Creek.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in communicative disorders in 2011 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is completing her second year of graduate school in speech-language pathology.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering in 2010 and his master's degree in mechanical engineering in 2011 from UW-Madison. He is a research-and-development systems engineer with Brady Corp.

The couple planned a one-week honey moon in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The couple met in 2005 as sophomores at Greendale High School. They both attended UW-Madison and became engaged in October 2010 during their senior year, after five and a half years of dating.
