Amber Marie Acker and Todd Michael Forster of Franklin were married Oct. 22, 2011, in the Noble Victory Memorial Chapel at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy.
Parents of the bride are Sandy and Larry Redner of Sussex and Andrew Malinowski of Greenfield. Groom's parents are Dawn and James Forster of New Berlin.
The Rev. Paul Jefferies officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee.
The bride wore a strapless ivory satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, embroidery and crystals, and in her hair she wore beaded hair clips made from her grandmother's veil. She carried a bouquet of cream and orange roses and purple statice.
Krystal Malinowski of Sussex, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Lori Perry of Greendale, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mara Buck, Erica Ferron and Jessi Bayer of Franklin, Lindsay Schiller of Wauwatosa, Victoria Groth of Bay View, and Lindsay Scotto DiVetta of Sussex.
Brian Bernard of West Allis, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Alex Malinowski of Sussex, Adam Forster and Brad Ferron of Franklin, Larry Johnson of Muskego, Ryan Sikorski of Waukesha, Nicholas Puschnig of West Allis, Kevin Dahm of Chicago, and Justin Dahm of Pewaukee.
Samantha Perry of Greendale, the bride's godchild, was flower girl. Cody Radler of Genesee, bride's godchild, was the ring bearer.
The bride earned her master's degree in nursing from Concordia University-Mequon. She is a family nurse practitioner with Lakeshore Medical Clinic.
The groom earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from UW-Madison. He is a corporate finance manager with Artisan Partners.
They planned a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
