Evan Fry of Franklin was among 10 juniors at the University of Oklahoma to be named to PE-ET Honor Society. To qualify, students must be of junior standing for the current academic year and be of senior standing during the 2013-14 academic year.

Matthew R. Chojnacki has received an Army ROTC scholarship at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Scholarships are awarded on a merit system, and recipients are enrolled as members of the ROTC Corps of Cadets. Upon graduation from the host college and completion of the ROTC program, the student cadet receives a bachelor's degree and a commission of second lieutenant in the Army. All scholarship students incur a military service obligation of eight years, which may be fulfilled by either serving on active duty or in the Reserve Components of the Army. Chojnacki is the foster son of Jennifer Chojnacki of West Allis. He graduated in 2010 from Greendale High School.
