Friday night on InterCHANGE

Here are the topics the panel will discuss on InterCHANGE, Friday night at 6:30 on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, with a repeat Sunday morning at 11:00:

One of the icons of American industry files for bankruptcy.  Will General Motors come back stronger, or will the public have lost faith in the brand?  Was it wise for the government to get involved, or should we have let the free market take its course?  Will Washington start to dictate what kinds of cars GM can build?

In a speech in Cairo President Obama reaches out to the Muslim world and attempts to repair relations with Muslims?  Will it work?  Was it necessary?  Was it anything more than just a speech?  Is it important for us to have the Muslim world like us?  Will this drive us farther away from Israel?  Is it realistic to think that closer ties with Muslims will get them to partner with us in the fight against extremist terrorists?  Does Obama want everyone to like us?

Did Judge Charles Clevert make the right decision when he refused to issue an injunction barring Brookfield high schools from holding their graduation ceremonies at Elmbrook Church?  Do the atheists have a point though?   Isn’t this what separation of church and state is all about?
