Admit it. When you read the above title you probably mentioned to yourself, “OK, what did Taylor wrong this time?”
Taylor, who reads my blog, undoubtedly had a totally different reaction because when he’s wrong (and that’s often) he can’t understand why he’s being criticized when he acts like the proverbial RINO.
So let’s get into it while Taylor fumes in front of his computer.
Tuesday’s election features the contest for Milwaukee County Executive Chis Abele against challenger Chris Larson.
Abele is liberal.
Larson is really, really, really liberal.
Taylor at this point in my blog: What did I do? What did I do?!!
An extremely reliable source in the Abele campaign tells me that Abele is off the charts in polling when it comes to support from Republicans. Makes sense because true (Steve, note the word “true”) Republicans understand that their best bet in this race is the least liberal Abele. A slam dunk. A no-brainer. TRUE conservatives are supporting and voting for Abele, not Larson.
The other day Larson cockily put out a news release announcing who that his appointment after he wins Tuesday would be Jonette Arms to head the County Division on Aging.
There’s only ONE county supervisor quoted in the Larson news release echoing Larson’s pick. Guess who?
Also from the Larson release:
Taylor has also stated his concerns that Abele’s intentional uncertainty within the Department will adversely affect services for our senior neighbors
Doesn’t sound like an Abele endorsement to me.
If somehow in Taylor’s warped sense of thinking he’s supporting Abele he has a very strange way of showing it.
About my latest criticism I’m sure Taylor can find solace from Peggy Romo-West or any of his other lefty buddies on the County Board.
Final Note: Steve, you got your wish. After complaining to the proprietors of this website about me, a la some high school sophomore my blog is going away. But just from here. I have not been silenced.
