Here are, in my view, interesting, noteworthy columns and articles from the past week that I highly recommend (You will note that on occasion, I do not endorse the opinions of the author and may point that out. Despite my disagreements, I still feel the piece is worth a read).

We open unconventionally with recommended viewing and a panel discussion on the media's handling of the Mideast crisis, Mitt Romney, and President Obama.

Middle East mayhem: Congrats Obama, you built that

Remember back in the beginning of 2011 when Obama told us about the freedom lovers in Egypt and Libya living under the oppression of dictators and needing our immediate help to establish democracy in their fair lands?

You do? So do I. How weird. We should become best friends. Facebook me.

“Anyway … it turns out that the ‘freedom lovers’ Obama coerced lots of Americans to rally behind (and whom he also pimped out with billions of sawbucks from America’s pitiful piggy bank) were bat crap crazy. I’m talking crazy on steroids crazy—and not just peaceful crazy like Joe Biden but rather hide-sharp-objects-from-them, menopausal wolverine sow crazy.”

Chicago kids would need vouchers to attend 'unreal' schools

“When Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis led her members out on strike this week, she said real school would be closed.

‘Negotiations have been intense but productive,’ she said. ‘However, we have failed to reach an agreement that will prevent a labor strike. Real school will not be open (Monday).’

Real school? You mean that public system where four of 10 students don't graduate?

Since real school wasn't open, I was compelled to visit an unreal school.”

7 examples that show voter fraud is a huge problem

“…voter fraud happens all the time and it does sometimes occur on a level large enough to impact close elections. Furthermore, it undoubtedly happens much more than we realize. After all, if poll workers are prevented by law from asking if people are who they say they are, how often are they going to catch people in the act? Afterwards, when you have disinterested government employees or partisan groups scanning voter data to try to find fraud, it's nearly impossible to look at a spread sheet and determine that person X was really person Y. So, if you don't bother to check for voter ID on the front end, you're probably not going to find it on the back end either. When you consider that a dedicated, well prepared team of say a dozen operatives could literally go from polling place to polling place and cast HUNDREDS of fraudulent votes a day with little chance of being caught, it's not a small issue. That's why we should have some system in place other than the Democrats' touching insistence that we can trust everyone to be honest on Election Day because as you're about to see, that's certainly not the case.”

Top 10 liberal race cards

“Liberals are starting to hear the dog-whistles they say conservatives slip into their conversations as racial code words and have discovered an amazing array of such language relating to criticism of President Obama. Be prepared to cut down on your vocabulary after seeing the list of these liberal race cards.”

Clint Eastwood on Obama, the death penalty, and more

"Our society, the pussy generation, is going to let [killers] live for years before they start peeling them off and executing them."

The only American not on Earth on September 11

"Astronaut Frank Culbertson watched from the Space Station as the attacks unfolded on the ground."

If Obama were to apologize to the Muslim Brotherhood in person
