***** BURGLARY INFORMATION *****
by Franklin Police Department on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 2:58pm
Recently, the city of Franklin and other municipalities have seen an increase in residential Burglaries. In some cases, a Burglary is being committed by suspect(s) because the opportunity presented itself, because a homeowner left their garage door open, residence unlocked, etc.
Please remember to lock your vehicles at night, close your garage door, and make sure all entry ways that lead into your residence are locked. Additionally, leave your exterior lights on as this illuminates your residence and makes it harder for a thief to conceal themselves. Lastly, report suspicious people, vehicles, or noises while it is occurring. The non-emergency number for the Franklin Police Department is (414) 425-2522.
