This Just In ...

He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely young daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Whatever happened to that goose?

Last month, from one of my Photos of the Week blogs...

A Canadian Goose stands alongside a small opening of water on Smith Lake at Washington Park with an arrow lodged in it's body, Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 in Denver. Denver firefighters and Wild B.I.R.D. Information and Rehabilitation group of Denver tried to rescue the goose but were unsuccessful. (AP Photo/The Denver Post, Andy Cross)

My wife, Jennifer is on the e-mail list for Love Canada Geese. She received an update late Friday night:

“We wanted to share a heartwarming story of the rescue and treatment of a Canada goose who was shot with an arrow in Colorado. And a great many thanks to Scott Coddington who spent many weeks pursuing this goose and rescuing him. Scott is an extremely good goose catcher.”

Here’s that heartwarming story and video.

And then, watch a goose caught without a net. The animal has fishing line cutting into its leg.

And here's another injured goose. This one has a broken foot.
