Lazich responds to Gov. Walker’s budget address

State Senator Mary Lazich issued the following remarks in response to Governor Scott Walker’s budget address.

“There are serious fiscal issues facing the state of Wisconsin. I applaud Governor Walker for delivering a straightforward, honest assessment of our budgetary issues and a comprehensive plan to solve them.

“The Governor’s budget creates a smaller, more efficient state government the voters asked for November 2, 2010. The budget reduces the structural deficit by 90 percent without increasing taxes and fees.”
