Friday night on InterCHANGE

Here are the topics for the InterCHANGE panel Friday night on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10 at 6:30 with a repeat broadcast Sunday morning at 11:00:

Walker and Neumann had their third and final debate before the primary election.  Most assume Walker is the favorite to win the primary.  If so, why does Neumann continue to run?  Most of the money donated to his campaign has come from his own bank account.  Is the race closer than most of us believe?  Does Neumann know something the rest of us don’t?  Does he simply have a huge ego that forces him to continue to spend on a campaign?  What will it take for Neumann to pull off an upset?  Does the latest news about the problems at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Center, and the computer being confiscated from the Walker aide have the potential to hurt his campaign?

A day after a U.S. district judge halted federal funding of all research involving embryonic stem cells, the government froze about $70 million for projects that were either up for renewal or well along in the approval process, effectively shutting down one of President Barack Obama's top scientific priorities.  It appears it will halt a lot of groundbreaking research being done by the University of Wisconsin, and puts millions of dollars in royalties at risk.  Do you think the public either cares about, or even understand what this issue is all about?  Is it too complex to have an effect on the race for governor.

3 – Bud Selig Statue.
