300 million

Brown Bag Movement

300 Million

It seems you can't pick up a newspaper today without hearing about waste, fraud, and abuse in state government.  Recently we've heard about $22.5 million in Wisconsin Shares fraud and $66 million per year in excessive overtime.  In these tough economic times, families and employers are looking for ways to do more with less.  Government should have to do the same thing.  That's why yesterday I announced another Brown Bag Idea to save taxpayers money.

I will create a  bipartisan commission to go through the budget line by line to identify $300 million in waste, fraud, and abuse that might otherwise have gone undetected for years.

Unlike Gov. Doyle and Mayor Barrett, if you elect me as your next governor
, I will make sure taxpayers get value for their hard-earned tax dollars.

Please see our new ad HERE.  We can’t do this alone – we need YOUR HELP to get our new ad on the air!  Will you please consider a contribution of $5, $20, $30, $50 or more today to help us spread our Brown Bag message?
