Message From Mark Block-State Director-AFP

Serious - Very Serious

Less than a week ago, the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), a non-elected board appointed by Governor Doyle, issued a new administrative rule that regulates and limits political speech and subjects violators to civil and criminal penalties.
The ruling is the most serious threat to our freedom of speech that I have witnessed in my lifetime.
I agree with my political opponent, Scot Ross with One Wisconsin Now, who said, "Under the new rule, now free speech becomes regulated speech."
I can assure the members of Americans for Prosperity, the patriots of the Tea Party Movement, and members of all other liberty advancing groups that we take this action very, very seriously and we have our legal team exploring all options to respond to this outrage.
The legal bills to respond to this action by the GAB will cost the Wisconsin Chapter of Americans for Prosperity funds that we had allocated to educating the citizens of Wisconsin on the issues facing us. We need your help to mount this legal challenge. Please make a special donation today for this fight today. Click Here to donate.
Vicki McKenna, the rock star of radio, did a show on this outrage. Click Here to hear her and Attorney James Troopis discuss the actions of GAB.
