This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely young daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Friday night, it's InterCHANGE with a special host

Filling in as the guest host on Milwaukee Public Television’s InterCHANGE on Channel 10 Friday night at 6:30 with a repeat on Sunday morning at 11:00 will be:


That means I get to pick the subject matter (normally the role of the host).

The topics:

1) Voter fraud. Last week while filling in for Mark Belling, I interviewed Milwaukee alderman Jim Witkowiak, a clear cut victim of voter fraud. Both the MJS and Charlie Sykes picked up on the story this week.

2) Harley. All the news stories say they’re moving. Are they? If so, what went wrong?

3) Sex offenders. Is the cost, and it is expensive, to house a convicted sex offender in Wisconsin  worth it?

4) Brett Favre
. What can you say? We’ll find out.

5) State Fair. Our panel creates their own ????? on a stick.
